An Evening with Sally Bethea

Ansley Park resident Sally Bethea is the founding director of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK), an environmental advocacy organization that is part of an international alliance of waterkeepers. Over the past 25 years, since its founding, CRK has worked successfully to clean up the river that provides drinking water for nearly five million people and to engage tens of thousands of people in projects to safeguard this life-giving resource. Join with your neighbors as Sally describes how she and co-founders Laura Turner and Rutherford Seydel established the organization and built it into one of the most successful water protection and advocacy groups in the Southeast. She will also discuss the health of the streams that flow through Ansley Park and answer your questions about other water-related issues in the Chattahoochee watershed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a walking tour of Ansley's waterways and streams.
