Join us for a fascinating evening with our neighbor Marilyn Brown, Ph.D. She has been a professor in the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy, since 2006. Previously, she had a distinguished career at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory. There she led several national climate change mitigation studies and became a leader in the analysis and interpretation of energy futures in the U.S. In 2007, she was a co-recipient of the Nobel Prize for co-authorship of the IPCC Report on Mitigation of Climate Change. Her subject for the evening is ”Tackling Climate Change by Transforming our Energy Systems.”
