All volunteers are invited to the Post Tour Appreciation Party on Monday, October 7, 6:00 pm (242 The Prado). This event (offering great food, libations, and company) is an opportunity to get together and celebrate a job well done for the neighborhood. The number of tickets to the party correlates to the number of shifts covered. We are looking forward to celebrating a successful Tour of Homes with you! The House Captain is responsible for overseeing volunteer docents and ensuring the smooth operation of the Tour of Homes on the days of the event. House captains are asked to commit to a full day shift and can choose to sign up for one or two days of the tour Saturday, October 5 and/or Sunday, October 6 from 10:30 am - 4:15 pm.
The Tour cannot take place without a large number of House Volunteers!
House volunteers serve as docents guiding tour-goers through the home, highlighting interesting features, answering questions, and more. This is a great opportunity to work with your neighbors for the benefit of Ansley Park! High school and college students get can get credit for community service hours.
