The wareHOUSE is a 20,000 sq. ft space that houses the private art collection of John and Sue Wieland . The house is a central image in all the artwork, reflecting John’s business as a major homebuilder in the southeast. The collection includes painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and video by contemporary artists from around the world. For many years, the collection hung in the corporate offices of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods. In 2010, the Wielands created the wareHOUSE, where the majority of the artwork now resides. It is available for public viewing by appointment only.

The Wielands have invited the residents of Ansley Park to the wareHOUSE to share a glass of wine and admire one of the most interesting private art collections in the southeast. John Wieland will provide an introduction, and curator Rebecca Cochran  will be on hand to lead a tour. For more information about the collection, visit www.thewarehouse.org.

The cost is $15 per person for APCA members, and $25 for non-members, which includes the tour, wine, and light appetizers. Please go to www.ansleypark.org, or call Barb Myers at 404-892-4039 to make reservations.
